Ramsay

Ramsay is Shelby Turner’s diabetic alert service dog and an important part of the Concept Salon family. Specially trained to detect changes in blood sugar levels, he plays a vital role in helping Shelby stay safe throughout the day by alerting her before levels become dangerous.

While he may look like the friendliest face in the room (and he truly is), Ramsay is always on duty. You may notice him getting comfortable in his bed, doing a little digging to settle in, or giving you a curious sniff when you first sit down—after all, you’ve just entered his space, and he takes his job seriously.

As much as we know it’s tempting, we kindly ask that you do not pet, call to, or distract Ramsay while he is working. His focus is incredibly important, and allowing him to do his job ensures both his safety and Shelby’s.

When he’s off duty, he’s every bit the sweet, lovable dog you’d expect—but during salon hours, he’s a dedicated member of the team, keeping a quiet watch over his person.
