Ashlyn Noto

Ashlyn is the owner of Concept Salon and a makeup artist with over 20 years of experience across bridal, editorial, and fashion. Her work is known for a skin-focused approach paired with a refined sense of glam, the kind that enhances your features, adds intention, and never feels overdone.

She began her career in her mother’s salon, where she learned early that great work isn’t about transformation, it’s about understanding the person in front of you. That perspective has never left. Real makeup for real women has always been the standard. Whether it’s soft and minimal or a little more elevated, everything is designed to feel wearable, flattering, and intentional.

Early in her career, she worked with MAC Cosmetics for several years, developing a strong technical foundation and the ability to adapt quickly to any face that sits in front of her. Since then, her work has been published locally, nationally, and internationally, and recognized with nine awards across hair and makeup.

​

Her work extends beyond makeup and into the creative direction of fashion shows, photoshoots, and community events. She has contributed to the Big Hair Ball and Greensboro Fashion Week, and serves as the Creative Director, lead hair and makeup artist, and hair and makeup liaison for the Emerald Gala, a nonprofit show supporting North Carolina artists. She is also a Paris Fashion Week makeup artist, bringing that level of precision back into her everyday client work.
